NASARAWA STATE HEALTH COMMISSIONER VISITS COLLEGE OF HEALTH, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, KEFFI

Keffi, Nasarawa State – on 28th August, 2024, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Health Hon. Gaza Shekwonugaza, led a high powered delegation to inspect the ongoing remodeling of structures and overall progress of the State College of Health Science and Technology, Keffi. The delegation included the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, the CMD of the Hospital Management Board, the Director of Public Health, and the Director of Administration and Supply in the Ministry of Health. The Commissioner expressed his satisfaction with the significant strides made in the remodelling project, emphasizing its importance in improving the learning environment for students and staff of the college. He commended the college’s management for their dedication and commitment to ensuring the project’s timely completion. 

During the inspection, the delegation visited the male hostel construction site, assessing the quality of work and progress made. They also interacted with the college management team to discuss future plans and challenges. The Commissioner assured the College of the State Government’s continued support in providing necessary resources to enhance the institutions’ capacity and effectiveness.

The proactive provost finally thanked the Hon. Commissioner for the visit and urged him to facilitate the implementation of an upward review of the request forwarded for consideration.

The Nasarawa State College of Health, Science, and Technology, Keffi, is a renowned institution dedicated to training health care professionals. The ongoing remodelling project is part of the State Government’s efforts to improve the college's infrastructure and provide a conducive learning environment for its students.
