Nasarawa State College of Health Science & Technology Matriculates 1009 Students in Style

The third matriculation ceremony for the Nasarawa State College of Health Sciences & Technology (NASCOHST) was held on June 8, 2023, at the college main campus along Abuja-Keffi road. The ceremony was attended by representatives from NBTE Salisu A. Saleem, Ibrahim Ndaimon (JAMB), Professor Ishaleku David (NSUK), Dr. Samuel Pam (FMC), Ahmad Ahmad Sarki Danmajen keffi (representing the Emir of Keffi Alh. Shehu Chindo Yamusa), Alhaji Ibrahim Audu (Wambai Keffi) and His Royal Highness Alhaji Riwan the Emir of Sabon Gari amongst other dignitaries.

A total of 1009 students were matriculated into various health programs at the college. The students were drawn from different parts of the State non-indigene inclusive. the Chairman of the Occasion Permanent Secretary represented by Professor David Ishaleku in his address, congratulated the students on their admission to the college and urged them to work hard to become competent health professionals. He also assured the students of the state government’s support in their academic pursuit.

The provost of the college, Dr. S. A. Muhammad, expressed his delight at the large turnout of students for the matriculation ceremony. He said that the college was committed to providing quality education to its students. He also urged the students to be of good behaviours while in the college and to uphold the values of the institution.

The matriculation ceremony was very colorful. The students were dressed in their academic gowns and caps. They marched into the arena to the beat of drums. The ceremony was followed by support of Parents, Friends and Well Wishers.

The third matriculation ceremony was a significant event in the history of NASCOHST. It was a sign of the growth and development of the college. The ceremony was also a celebration of the achievements of the passed students of the college who scored 74.8% in the National Exams of 2022.

The students who were matriculated at the ceremony are now officially enrolled as students of NASCOHST. They will begin their academic journey in the next few weeks. The college wishes them all the best in their studies.
