The School of Public Health Sciences is one of the academic units of Nasarawa State College of Health Science and Technology Keffi. It is led by SAN. Efuna Ezekiel Kakpo, is a renowned public health expert and researcher

DEAN
The School offers four programs that cover different aspects of public health, one of which is the pioneer Program created in 1999 (Environmental Health Technology, which focuses on the prevention and control of environmental hazards); Public Health Science, which provides a broad overview of the principles and practices of public health; Epidemiology and Disease Control, which studies the patterns, causes, and effects of diseases in populations; and Nutrition and Dietetics, which deals with the science and art of food and nutrition. All these programs are accredited by the National Board for Technical Education, which ensures that they meet the quality standards and requirements of the profession. SAN. Efuna Ezekiel Kakpa is the pioneer Dean of the School, He holds Masters’s Degree in Environmental Health Technology and currently running his Ph.D program on Environmental Resource Management at NSUK
