In their bid to change the economic direction of Nigeria to enable the country to be self reliance,the Director General and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Board for Technology Incubation Agency, Engr. Dr. Mohammed Jibril has stated that the agency will guide the Nasarawa state government to build and strengthen a laboratory in the Nasarawa State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Keffi.
The Director General who made the assertion in an executive interview with AljazirahNigeria, during the matriculation and graduation ceremony of the students of the school on Thursday at Keffi, stated that the effort is to widen the scope of the students’ knowledge.
Dr. Jibril who assured that the laboratory project would soon takeoff at the college, expressed his satisfaction with the remarkable achievements recorded by the authorities of the college through the magnanimous gesture of the Nasarawa state government.
“We are strengthening a laboratory in the institution. It will be done before February, but it will depend on the commitment of the Nasarawa state government so that we can establish a building for drugs manufacturing.
“Drugs like paracetamol, chloroquine and syrups of all kind can be produced. I am sure that the state governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule and the state minister of our parent ministry Barr. Mohammed Abdullahi who is from this state will not say no to this upcoming project” Dr. Jibril stated.
According to him,Nasarawa state was more viable than most states from the Niger Delta if the state can improve on her God’s giving endearments.
He therefore advised the youths to key into the noble efforts of the agency with a view to making Nigeria a great and prosperous country especially that the country is abundantly blessed with potentialities; natural and human resources in its every part.
