The School of Family Health Science is made up of two departments namely:

Department of Community Health

Department of Dispensing Opticianry (DDO)

The School is Headed by a Director. The current director is Mrs Ashigabu Justina T. she holds a master’s Degree in clinical psychology.

The School is fully accredited by National Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (NCHPRBN) and Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN)

COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS (CHEW)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Possession of Five (5) “0” Level Credits in WAEC or NECO At not more than two sittings in the following subjects:

  1. English Language
  2. Mathematics
  3. Biology
  4. Chemistry
  5. Physics

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Possession of four (4)“O” level credits in WAEC, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings which include

  1. English Language
  2. Mathematics
  3. Any two from Physics, Chemistry and Biology
