About us

The Medical imaging/X-ray Technology Department is one of the departments under the School of Diagnostic and Pharmaceutical Sciences. It offers a National Diploma (ND) and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Medical Imaging Technology, which are accredited by the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). The department trains students to become competent and ethical professionals in the field of medical imaging, which involves the use of X-rays, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and other modalities to diagnose and treat diseases. The department has qualified and experienced lecturers, as well as modern facilities and equipment for teaching and learning. Graduates of the department can work in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, research institutes, and other health-related organizations.
